Danger

My grandson is growing up (13 already and is as tall as I am) and I know that he won't be "scared" for not one second with this card -- but I do hope he enjoys it! This was inspired by GinaK's latest StampTV tutorial on making a gatefold with a twist. The twist being that there are two outer components --the skull image attached to one side; danger, attached only to the other side allowing the card to open.

The best fun was creating the inside. The Mummy is attached by a black thread at just the point that will allow him to "spring" from his tomb when the card is opened! There's no danger in having fun!

Details: Stamps: Stampendous, Inkadinkado, Cuttlebug folder, Sizzix die cuts,

Friends

Here's a tribute to my friends everywhere. I've been so missing my blog routine and hearing from my blogging friends but I've been trying to get "organized" in my studio so that I can be more productive. Sometime ago I promised to create 52 recycled card projects -- Here is Card Trick No. 10. -- so I have a few to go don't I? This one sports a versamark stamped background with an Inkadinkado swirl and crown stamp from All Night Media, and "Friends" by Annette Allen Watkins. And how fitting - the "friends" stamp was a gift from my dear friend Sarah -- who is getting this card in the mail. She is indeed my royal friend.
