Once Upon a Time...

Mrs. Doubtfire is the movie of choice for this week's Cinema Saturday challenge and this movie brings up a memory for me of Robin Williams, dressed as Mrs. Doubtfire, sitting in a rocking chair, reading a children's storybook. Perhaps this is something I have just dreamed up -- but I think that it did happen. At least, "Once Upon a Time." This image of Mrs. Doubtfire has inspired my "Once Upon a Time" storybook which can be opened up (part of the challenge was for something that opens up and/or contains a surprise). My husband and I celebrate 49 years of marriage this month so I made it into an anniversary "card." Here are the pages when the "book" is opened up.

Ink pads: Memories, brown, sepia, black
gems, ribbon - stash
Stamps: Stampabilities, Distinctive Impressions, Stampendous
Nestabilities; Marvy corner punch; Cuttlebug embossing folder
Sizzix and craft punches
verses: computer generated and stamped

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Martha,
Your blog is beautiful with do many great originals. You have been having too much fun in that laundry room. Somehow, I don't seem to have near as much fun in mine and I am not coming out the door with great creations like
you are. Most of my stuff is lucky to get put on a hanger.

Love,
Donna
