These days, manual typewriters are probably only in museums and would only be used by these cute little mice -- but that is exactly what I learned to type on!
A Penny Black challenge presented by Janneke -- with one of her favorite sketches:
A delightful Penny Black image with the "Love" stamp all the way from Nashville, Tennessee (Michael's store) used for the text on the paper inserted in the typewriter. The "paper" is appliqued and lifted with pop dots for dimension and then I put diamond glaze and my favorite Art Institute Glitter on it for a little shine. Cuttlebug textures and sizzix extras. Saving this one for my DH -- he is my Love always and forever!

Beautiful job with the typewriter and mice. This looks like a very difficult sketch and you've done an outstanding job with it.
I love this Martha!! I, too, know what a typewriter is and I actually took one to college with me!
